A very popular attraction in Florida is the Kennedy Space Center, also known as Cape Canaveral. Cape Canaveral has more than 2 million visitors per year. The launch of the space shuttle is done from here.

Kennedy Space Center is a one hour drive from Orlando. You need a full day for your visit to all the facilities, the IMAX theater and lots of exibitions such as the huge Saturn V rocket.
